Nite Moves was started 22 years ago in Santa Barbara by Jake Clinton and has become a Wednesday night tradition for runners and their families.  My wife Erin and I participated in the series one summer and had such a good time that we decided to bring the Nite Moves tradition to our hometown, San Diego.

Nite Moves is all about offering runners the opportunity to run the same 5K race course every week for 6 weeks (professionally timed and results posted online) so they can can get real competition and work on their timing on a regular basis.

And it's all about having fun. Outside. All Summer.

We've reached out to our friends in the local Point Loma and San Diego communities to provide runners with a fun, family-friendly, post-race festival every week. We've got some great local bands set to play at the finish line. We've lined up some good grub for everyone on the house. Our friends at Firestone are going to set up a beer garden. And we hope everyone brings their families down to hang out and have fun after the race.

Thanks for checking out the website, and we look forward to seeing San Diego runners and their families this summer.
